The North Pacific Fishery Management Council, Science and Statistical Committee, and Advisory Panel are holding their October meeting from September 30 to October 15, with the Council meeting October 6 and 10-15. NPFMC is responsible for managing federal fisheries in Alaska, including the Bering Sea pollock/groundfish commercial fisheries.
The public is invited to submit written comments and provide testimony to the Council. Written comments are due in 1 week by September 29, 2021, at 5pm AKDT. For those interested, KRITFC suggests submitting public comments under agenda item B9, C6 (if about the Bering Sea/Aleutian Island pollock fishery), or E1.
