Weekly River-Wide Teleconferences
KRITFC hosts weekly river-wide teleconferences throughout the salmon fishing season. These teleconferences are open to the public, who can join by computer via Zoom or toll-free by phone.
Kuskokwim residents and Tribal citizens who are interested in staying up-to-date about in-season fishing news are invited and encouraged to listen in and/or participate. The weekly calls are an important way for stakeholders to discuss observations in weather patterns, fish movement, and other topics that impact our chance to put away salmon for the winter. It is also an opportunity to ask questions of fisheries managers from KRITFC and USFWS and learn about what is happening on other sections of the river.
In 2024, these teleconferences will take place every Tuesday AT 10AM AKsT, STARTING ON June 4.
